Farewell Album for Pastor Jeff & Ali

Farewell Album for Pastor Jeff & Ali

We would like to have our church family join us in creating a farewell photo album to present to Pastor Jeff and Ali in remembrance of their many years of serving here at FCC.
There will be a variety of ways that you can participate in this gift :

  • Take a full page from the album and create your own page of memories, notes, photo’s, prayers, stories, etc.  You can do this page in any format that you want, and it can be completed on one side only or both, it can be completed with another family or as group, or as one individual or family.  If you need ideas on this please let me know.
  • If you would prefer to just write a card or note or send in a photo etc; and have us arrange it in the album along with others, that would be great too.
  • We will also have a page or two designated for those of you who would like to simple sign with a few words of blessing or thanksgiving.

Due to not holding in person services for the time being this gift will take more time to put together then we initially planned.  Therefore; we ask that you start thinking of what you would like to include in this special album to bless Pastor Jeff & Ali. If you would like to get started on a page already, please let me know and we’ll get that to you.

Thanks for your participation,
Wanda Frei for Fellowship & Service

Resignation of Pastor Jeff Gooderham

Dear Friends and Family of Breton Faith Covenant Church;

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share with you that Pastor Jeff Gooderham has resigned as Senior Pastor of the Breton Faith Covenant Church. Pastor Natasha spoke to the congregation during the Sunday morning services on April 18th regarding this news and read Pastor Jeff’s letter of resignation. Pastor Jeff and Ali and their family faithfully served Faith Covenant and the community of Breton for many years and will be dearly missed. Even though we are grieving that their time at the church is now over, we are trusting that the Lord has a plan for Jeff and Ali and their family. We wish them God’s abundant blessings and pray for God’s leading in their lives as He directs them in other areas to minister and serve Him and His people.

Please be in prayer for our church and for the leadership as we discern God’s leading for the fellowship here in Breton. Please pray for Pastor Jeff and Ali as they follow God’s call in their lives. We know that God has a plan for both our church and for the Gooderhams; so we look to Him, trusting He will lead and provide all that we need, offering comfort in our sadness as we say goodbye and hope for what He has in store for us all in the days ahead.

The leadership has asked Pastor Natasha to move to a full-time position in the interim as we wait on God’ direction and she has graciously accepted that role. The Church Council is working towards providing an opportunity for our church family to share their goodbyes and best wishes with the Gooderham Family and will announce those details as plans are put in place. If you wish to speak to anyone concerning Pastor Jeff’s resignation or about future plans for the church, please contact our Church Chairman, Alan Myles.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Only by His Grace,
Jennifer Ellis, on behalf of the
Breton Faith Covenant Church Council

Looking for Volunteers!

Just a reminder…

We are looking for volunteers in several aspects for our Sunday morning Worship services!

Help with PowerPoint

– this is for the words up on the screen (songs, scripture, videos, photos) for all to see and follow along.

Help with the Sound Board

and

Volunteers to run the camera

on Sunday mornings during the first service.
It is easier than running the PowerPoint and training takes no time at all!!!

If you would like to find out more or are interested in stepping up to volunteer please let

Shannon in the office know.
