Know God and Make Him Known

Mission Partners

Each November our church members are encouraged to fill a shoe box with small gifts to be sent out in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse.  These shoe box gifts touch the lives of many children all over the world.

We also collect eyeglasses, pop tabs, Canadian Tire money, Campbell’s soup labels and stamps year round which are collected and distributed to various organizations.

Canadians Foodgrains Bank

We work toward this goal by: providing food in times of crisis for hungry people in the developing world; helping people grow more food to better feed themselves and their families; and providing nutritional support to malnourished people with a focus on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and young children.

We also advocate for public policies that enable families and communities to better feed themselves, and look for ways to engage and educate Canadians about global hunger.

In 2017-18, Canada Foodgrains Bank helped over 800,000 people in 34 countries.

What is the Tear Fund?

Tearfund is a Christian charity, called to follow Jesus wherever the need is greatest. We work God’s church in the very poorest places on Earth to help it unlock people’s God-given potential to create flourishing and resilient communities.
The Tearfund Vision is to see people freed from poverty, living transformed lives, and reaching their God-given potential.
